I’m still working
on my work in progress, Golden Days. Elizabeth is a blossoming young
artist, and James is a miner with mechanical abilities. Both are
learning how to find their own place in the world. I’m at the fun stage
where I know the characters well and I’m just letting them tell
me how the story ends.
It’s near the end of summer for us
in Alaska. While driving to the state fair today, I noticed that
clusters of yellow leaves showed in the birch trees, and the fireweed
blossoms had all turned to seed. Hope you enjoy what’s left
of your summer wherever you are.
