Summer is my favorite time of year, partly because of gardens. I love to see what other people are doing with their gardens, and to putter around in my own. In Alaska, we have a fairly short season, but the long days of light also give a boost to some plants, so I think we break even on that score. Of course, we have to deal with moose now and then, but that’s fine with me. Here are a few photos of my gardening efforts, and a young visitor, from this year.
