Alaska doesn't have the eye-popping colors of New England, or even other states in the Lower 48. But it does have its charms. The yellow birch, golden aspen, and red shrubs are lovely in their own way. While I'm sad to see summer go, I take pleasure in breathing crisp autumn air and enjoying the season while it lasts. It won't be long before winter is here!
