We had our state fair again this year, after skipping last year because of Covid-19. It was a different fair than usual, but it was still great to see the giant vegetables, shop at all the booths, and eat our hearts out, My favorite food is the salmon quesadillas--we have to eat those for lunch every time!
I didn't take any photos this year, but here are a few from a "normal" year.
The gardens and landscaping are always fun.

We have huge vegetables in the farm exhibit.

And they're donated to the Alaska Zoo after the fair, which the animals love.

Do you enjoy your state fair? What's your favorite thing?
P.S. Here's some photos of this year's fair from the Anchorage Daily News: https://www.adn.com/alaska-life/2021/08/30/photos-alaska-state-fair-2021/
