This week's blog is another note from our recent travels. One of my favorite Western sites is the Cadillac Ranch, outside Amarillo, Texas along I-40. It is a row of ten vintage Cadillacs buried nose-down into the ground, created in 1974 by a group of underground artists called the Ant Farm. The public is welcome to view it and add spray paint if desired. Here are a few photos.
One of the reasons I like this place so much is because I love Bruce Springsteen's song "Cadillac Ranch." I got it stuck in my head for days after seeing it. Here's a link in case you'd like to see him perform the song:
