Fixes for the Break Up Blues

It's break up in Southcentral Alaska, the time when the snow and ice start to melt. The roads are full of slush, puddles, and potholes. Summer seems far away.

Affluent Alaskans often go to Hawaii or other warm places this time of year. Others slog through by keeping busy with hobbies or sports. Personally, it's my favorite time of year to find a greenhouse and soak in the greenery.
