We did some traveling around the Lower 48 states (what Alaskans call Outside) earlier this summer. I know this out of my usual blog routine, but I thought I'd share a few places in the next couple weeks, just to give you a taste.
Texas has a lot in common with Alaska, in its big open spaces and friendly people. But there's also a lot of differences. For example, the city of Austin is HUGE compared to anything we have back home. But I really enjoyed it, too. Here are a few photos.
